For me, this image brings back memories of pure adrenaline and wonder. Also gratitude for nature.
On a sunny afternoon in the beautiful Veluwe, I decided to take a seat in one of the observation huts, hoping for a glimpse of local wildlife.
To my surprise, an entire family of wild boars appeared out of the dense forest after just a few minutes. They stopped barely six metres away to drink from the babbling brook right in front of us.
The family consisted of more than eight piglets and adult boars. The proud parents kept a close eye on the surroundings while the piglets drank. The parents let out fearsome cries and poked their hooves into the earth. With bated breath, I manoeuvred my camera, determined to capture this unique moment. The moment felt long but was sadly brief. They disappeared again into the dense forest canopy.
This experience was a true adrenaline rush, and I am grateful that I was able to capture this special moment. Want to experience more such nature moments? Stay tuned to my adventures and discover beautiful nature through my lens.
