"A cup of green tea" is an acrylic painting in a contemporary square format by artist Karen Kaspar. It shows a cup of green tea seen from above against an abstract background of tea leaves in bright shades of green.
This work, a combination of painting and haiku, is a joint project by Karen Kaspar (© art) and Marjolein Rotsteeg (© Haiku).
A haiku is a traditional Japanese poetic form consisting of three lines.
Here, the acrylic painting has been supplemented with the haiku in English. The painting is also available without text (see album 'Food').
You can find more paintings with haiku and poems in my albums 'Haiku and Painting English' and 'Haiku and Painting Dutch'. New works are constantly being added to the albums. So keep checking back from time to time!
