In the silence of early morning, when the light still glides softly across Middle Delfland, my adventure begins. Every step on the winding path feels like a journey into the unknown. With my camera ready, I scour the surroundings for nature's treasures. The songs of birds echo like a symphony, but their silhouettes often remain hidden. It requires patience and attention, peering at the tops of trees or the swaying reeds.
One particular morning in the Vockestaert, an area between Delft and Schiedam, I spotted my first Goldfinch and Bluethroat. But it was the Bearded Warbler that stole my heart. Those moments stay with me, imprinted in my memory as fond memories.
Inspired by these encounters, I created an artwork merging photography and digital art. With MidJourney, I gave the Bearded Man an abstract, painterly background in warm, flowing colours. The texture is reminiscent of watercolours, with soft transitions and faded edges evoking a dreamy atmosphere.
The result is a work of art that reflects the serenity and beauty of nature. Warm tones evoke the atmosphere of a rising sun, while cooler colours reflect the freshness of a winter morning. This work not only brings colour to the wall, but also a sense of serenity and wonder.
