Down at the waterfront ... (Sunset at Kinderdijk)
During one week a year are illuminated the windmills of Kinderdijk.
This attracts appropriate visitors and photographers.
My goal was (as almost always actually), to a completely different picture than the typical photos that are made here.
For this picture I put on my swimsuit and I have my tripod just past the reeds into water. A low point was to ensure the reflection .From this angle I could capture the perfect blue sky and I was able to determine also the mills on the left lay. This is in fact impossible if you stood on the side.
All the above points make this picture because one of its kind and totally different from the usual array of pictures of Kinderdijk.
From within and abroad, I received a lot of positive response to this picture.
So it was natural that this should also be included in my shop.
