I loved this door so much, I photographed it during our honeymoon in Montenegro. It's the entrance to the church called Lady of the Rocks. This church is on an island in Perast Montenegro.
According to legend, the island of Mary of the Rocks or Our Lady of the Rocks (Gospa od Skrpjela) was created artificially because ships loaded with stones to build fortifications sank off the coast. The first church on the island was built in 1452 and the current Church of Our Lady of the Rock was built in 1632. Next to the church there is a museum and a souvenir shop.
In honour of "Our Lady of Rocks", sailors threw a small rock or stone into the bay every time they returned successfully. Even now, every year there is the Fasinada, a local holiday on the 22nd of July where it is customary to throw stones into the sea. During the Fasinada there is a lot of folklore with music and dance and food on the beach of St. Mary's Island.
