About the artwork

This picture was taken during a dolphin cruise near Madeira, an island in the Atlantic known for its rich marine life. Two striped dolphins (Stenella coeruleoalba) swim just below the surface of the water. The sun plays with the light and creates a pattern of reflections on their backs, creating an almost shiny, natural markings on their skin.

It was a calm day at sea. This image shows a small, special moment where you may briefly witness the daily life of these wild marine mammals. No action, no spectacle - just the calmness and elegance of the movement make it an image that lingers.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
