The Dodge Viper RT/10 was and is the successor of the legendary muscle cars that are still popular with classic car fans. With an 8-litre engine under the bonnet, it was first tested in December 1989 and presented as a pace car at the Indianapolis race in 1991. In spring 1992 the Viper RT/10 came into the showrooms as an open roadster like the Viper I photographed at Lake Constance. In Europe, however, it was offered under the name Chrysler Viper RT/10. The Coupé followed in 1993 and here with 2 bulges in the roof for the helmets of the racing drivers which finally made her the new Le Mans legend with countless race victories!
The convertible of the 1st series was built from 1992-2002.
