Warffum, Netherlands

Since childhood, I have been fascinated by culture. This comes from a folkloric dance festival in my home village of Warffum, the Op Roakeldais festival. Here, dance groups from all over the world perform annually to showcase their culture through song and dance.

I combine my passion for photography with the festival so that I can take beautiful and special portraits of the dancers. This results in colourful, happy, cultural photos. Hopefully soon on your wall too!
