Iceland is a beautiful and photogenic destination in both summer and winter. In the summer, the diversity of the landscape is overwhelming and in the winter, the half-frozen waterfalls form a special scene.
So too in this photo which shows a detail of the Godafoss waterfall. The flowing water forms a special contrast with the part where ice has formed.
The photo was deliberately taken with a slow shutter speed to give the falling water a silky effect.
