The artwork shows a section of the glass façade of the Futurium in Berlin. The façade consists of a large number of diamond- and triangular-shaped glass elements arranged in a precise geometric pattern. The reflection of daylight creates a lively interplay of colours in shades of blue, green and yellow, which overlap with shadows and reflections. Small, circular ceiling lights in the interior complement the visual grid and lend the picture additional depth.
The inspiration for this work was the question of how the future can be expressed in architectural form. The Futurium, as a place for questions about the future, offers an ideal basis for a visual exploration of order, change and perception with its clear, technical design. I was particularly interested in the interplay of structure, light and colour in a functional context.
With this picture, I want to create a calm yet dynamic atmosphere. It invites reflection on design, perspective and the relationship between technology and aesthetics.
In interior design, this work acts as a modern, restrained colour accent. It is particularly suitable for minimalist or architectural room concepts and brings a clear, structuring effect to living or working areas - without being dominant, but with a precise presence.
