Kiss is a sculpture by the French sculptor Auguste Rodin.

In 1886, the French master Auguste Rodin created his or Baiser The Kiss. Inspired, like his bronze Porte de l'Enfer, by Dante's Divine Comedy, he symbolizes Paolo Malatesta and Francesca da Rimini story in the sensual theme of torque.

One of the master reflection here was about: Great sculptors are equally koloristen as the best painters. Besides the color is like the flower of the beautiful modèle. These two qualities always accompany each other again and it is they who give the magnificent aspect of the living flesh all the masterpieces of sculpture.
