I took this image during a game drive in the Kruger national park, in South Africa.
The Kruger Park is home to many elephants, so the chances of seeing one are pretty high. This elephant was standing quite close to the jeep, allowing me to zoom in far enough, to only have part of its skin in the image.
In this image, you can see a side view of a large African elephant, in which all the details can be seen. The wrinkles and lines in his skin, but also the mud he has washed himself with. Pieces of grass can also be seen in this picture.
It has become a beautiful abstract image, with calm earth tones. The lines give a playful effect, which you can look at for a long time.
