This landscape photo was taken at Dodevlei (Deadvlei) in Sossusvlei in Namibia in Africa.
In the foreground we see a dead tree, which consists of a branched branch up and a branched branch lying to the left. The bottom of the vlei is covered with a rough layer of white lime.
Behind this dead branch, we can see an orange dune sloping upward to the left and dunes also sloping downward a bit further into the photo to the right. More such dead branches and trees are visible in the distance.
The sky is mostly deep blue, with some veil clouds on the left.
The photo exudes emptiness and tranquility, a typical desert landscape.
