About the artwork

In the magical stillness of the night, the Democracy Monument (Anusawari Prachathippatai) rises like a shining symbol of history and hope in the heart of Bangkok. Surrounded by the pulsating traffic of the roundabout on Ratchadamnoen Klang Boulevard, the monument seems like an anchor of timelessness despite its central location. The four slender wings flanking the central viewpoint shine under the artificial lighting, while their golden decorations reflect the light in soft shimmers.
The geometric precision of the architecture symbolises the ideals of democracy that the monument has embodied since its erection in 1939. Nestled in the intersection with Thanon Dinso, this place becomes a nocturnal stage where history and modernity merge in striking contrast. The black sky, speckled with distant stars, enhances the aura of the place, while the steady flow of lights from passing vehicles adds movement and vibrancy.
In this scene, the monument seems to be not only a physical structure, but also a memorial to the constant struggle for freedom and justice. It invites us to pause and reflect on the complex past and the visions of a vibrant future.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
