The Grevelingendam is a dam in Zeeland, Netherlands, located between Schouwen-Duiveland and Noord-Beveland. It is part of the Dutch Delta Works, a series of dams, sluices, and storm surge barriers designed to protect the Netherlands from flooding. The dam is a broad, rectangular structure that stretches across the water, with windmills standing atop it. The windmills are enormous, with blades over 60 meters long that rotate in the wind. From the air, the dam and its windmills are a breathtaking sight, with the windmills standing out against the blue sky and the view of the sea and land in the background.
