Mule deer are encountered almost daily when travelling in Colorado. These deer are most comparable to fallow deer that we know in the Netherlands. Their antlers still have a velvety bark in late summer. These deer enjoy grazing on the herbs and flowers they find everywhere. A true paradise for these animals with so much food on offer!
