Onwaarschijnlijk en onwezenlijke plek in het westen van Namibië, de Deadvlei (bij Sossusvlei) eeuwenoude dode bomen staan roerloos op een zoute uitgedroogde bodem tussen ineens hoge zandduinen. Niet alleen bij zonsopgang mooi maar elke minuut van de dag de moeite waard.
