About ‘Deadvlei II’ by Anneke Hooijer

On the dry plain of the Deadvlei in Namibia, dead trees have stood for thousands of years. Because they stand out darkly against the red dunes in the background and the almost white background of the dried clamp-fast. It is a beautiful location for photography.
The day we are there, white clouds also appear in sweeps across the blue…
