About "Dead Shapes - The Dancing Lovers"

About the artwork

“Dead Shapes” is a series created in Deadvlei, in the heart of the Namib Desert.
Here, the dead trees have not vanished: they remain standing, petrified by light and time.
Charred trunks rise from the white clay soil like scorched sculptures, in a silence that feels absolute.
Behind them, red dunes stretch like curtains of sand, while the perfect sky draws a sharp line between earth and nothingness.
Each tree is a frozen gesture, a figure left behind to bear witness to another age.
These bare forms no longer speak of life, but of resistance, beauty, and time carved into matter.
A suspended horizon: where an ancient forgotten lake once held sap and breath, now death becomes art.
In this fragment of Deadvlei, two trees stand like characters on stage: two dancers, mirror-like yet unique.
Their postures reflect and oppose one another, like two actors playing the same role with opposite gestures, in a silent choreography across the desert, where every shadow is a gesture and every gesture a question.
Two forms that search for each other, or perhaps respond to one another, like lovers in a timeless ballet written by fate.

About Fabrizio Gallo

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
