Taraxacum officinale, the scientific name for the well-known dandelion, photographed from above, with leaves, stems and other vegetation out of focus in the background. Due to the very large aperture (f 1.8 on a 135mm lens) and because the stem is invisible due to the press perspective, the seeds become so detached from the background that the seeds appear to be floating.
