Dandelion Puffball Diva - a dandelion puffball with most of the seeds missing. The dandelion head has a few seeds left on the top like a bow on its head. The remainder of the sees are hanging of on to the lower part of the dandelion head like a color. The reason I named it dandelion diva. it reminds me of a large fluffy wrap a diva would carry going to a gala. It makes for a fun mcro composition of this dandelion puffball. The parachutes have a romantic softnes to them. The background is a speckled soft green. I photographed this dandelion at eye levle to allow every details to be visible.
I have a soft spot for dandelion and their puffballs. They bring memories back from my childhood wishing and dreaming away as I blew the puffballs and watched the tiny parachuts carry away.
The dandelion is considered a good luck flower to bring success. I was also educated about another significance the dandelion flower had. The Dandelion was chosen in 1998 as the “Official Flower of the Military Brat”
