Shooting without a plan. It often gives surprising results. While I am shooting some urban landscapers from a walkway over an embankment, I come across various flowers bathing in beautiful morning light. The simple and ubiquitous dandelions are like to show off fluff balls. At one flower the top layer is gone, leaving the heart of the flower visible. With my macro lens I crawl close to create a nice composition. But I want more! More than a dandelion. Abstract perhaps. In finishing, I therefore choose a conversion to black and white which gets a smashing punch. Almost like a firework in a beautiful spring night.
