"Dancing to the end: Dried pastel-coloured leaves with turquoise-blue background" is a photograph of two beautiful dried leaves (from a plant called the Bougainvillea). Because the leaves were dried in the lovely Spanish sunshine in Lanzarote, the leaves have lightened in colour and appear to become transparent. As a result, the veins of the leaves have become clearly visible.
A cheerfully peaceful still life in which it looks as if the leaves are dancing together.
When taking this picture, I chose to set my camera so that only a small part is razor-sharp. Everything in front or behind this part gradually fades out. This gives a dreamy atmosphere to the photo and at the same time creates a sense of depth in the work.
This work could, for example, hang beautifully as wall decoration in the bedroom, dining room or simply above the sofa! Also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office, waiting room or practice room!
