This photograph brings together the power of art, architecture and light in one explosive creation. A spectacle of steel wool unfolds in front of the imposing statue near the Rechtgebouw on the Zuidas in Amsterdam, with sparks trailing through the night like fiery brushstrokes. The hard, solid bronze of the statue contrasts beautifully with the fleeting energy of the orange circles of light drawing their way through the sky.
The reflection in the water doubles the magic and makes the sculpture almost surreal. It feels like an encounter between the solid and the ephemeral, between order and chaos. A reminder that art is not just something to look at, but to experience - in light, fire and movement.
Due to some mental challenges I started photography as a hobby. This hobby has brought me a lot of new insights and challenges so I can enjoy life more.
I hope I can let you enjoy my photos as well...
