The dachshund, also known as the dachshund or "sausage dog," is a charming and quirky dog breed instantly recognisable by its unique, elongated body and short legs. This small- to medium-sized breed comes in three coat varieties: short-haired, long-haired and wirehaired, with a wide range of colours including red, black with brown markings, chocolate, cream and more. The dachshund is solidly built and has a deep body with a prominent chest, large, expressive eyes and long, pendant ears that contribute to its cute but determined appearance. Originally bred as a hunting dog for tracking badgers and other underground game, the dachshund is brave, tenacious and curious by nature. Despite its small size, this breed has a great character and can be surprisingly independent and stubborn, which makes training challenging at times. Dachshunds are affectionate and strongly attached to their family, but they can also show a playful and sometimes mischievous side. They have an average energy requirement and enjoy walks, games and mental stimulation. With their unique appearance, lively nature and deep loyalty, dachshunds are beloved companions who bring both humour and joy to their owners' lives.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
