About ‘Crista’ by Ruud van Koningsbrugge
Abstract composition constructed from parts of packaging cardboard. By using packaging, this waste is given a place of honour and lasting value instead of ending up with the waste paper almost unseen.
Crista is named from associations with a helmet jug, but also Tibetan moon-shaped hat while the blue part may remind one of a llama.
