Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Crazy Underground’ by Niklott Art Shop

This artwork is a vibrant digital collage based on an overexposed photograph of a tube station. Here, reality blurs into a sea of radiant yellow and cyan. A colourful parade of playful stickers winds its way across this urban scene: at the centre, a charmingly drawn bee buzzes about, whilst a cheerful waving tiger, traditional zongzi rice dumplings and a creamy bubble tea come together on a pink polka-dot bow. You can even spot hidden rabbit ears and a ‘666’ graphic. On the right-hand edge, a majestic crown sits enthroned above a tube sign, which moments later has been transformed into a shocked comic-style face. The inspiration came directly from the vibrant life of the big city. Who isn’t familiar with the feeling of travelling through the city on the underground at night, when the lights are blurred? The stickers symbolise the traces people leave behind in urban spaces. With this digital reworking, I wanted to create an absolutely energetic, cheerful and slightly eccentric atmosphere. The piece captures the sheer dynamism and sensory overload of the urban jungle. In an interior setting, this image becomes the ultimate, modern eye-catcher. It brings a sense of street art, humour and a bold splash of colour to any wall – perfect for anyone who loves unconventional city life.
