The river Meuse forms the border river between Flanders and the Netherlands in both Limbourgs. During the summer of 2017, I drove here with my car on the clay country road from Herbricht to Uikhoven (Belgian Limburg). The panorama was breathtaking as the evening sky was still casting the last warm rays of sunshine on the departing summer thunderstorm. The puddle in front betrays that it had rained there not so long ago. The road runs parallel to Mother Meuse (right) and is bordered here by sugar beet, grain and corn fields. To the right, on the other side of the Maas, near Geulle, the Heuvelland of South Limburg begins.
A beautiful panorama where I was alone, away from civilization. Can you imagine the silence of this moment? I wish you great pleasure in purchasing a beautiful reproduction of this view along the Maas.
