A photographer friend of ours had made her finca in Ibiza available to us for a photo shoot. This striking image of the attractive blonde, who clearly enjoyed the shoot in this dream location, was taken by the pool. The props we had bought earlier in a souvenir shop were put to good use. I took the photo with an analogue SLR camera…

Matthias Stolt

Hamburg, Germany

I worked as a freelance photo designer for 25 years. My focus was on fashion and advertising photography. I am also the author of numerous books and articles in trade magazines.
Before becoming self-employed, I worked in marketing for a large camera manufacturer, where I was in charge of public relations.

I discovered my love of photography during my training as a retoucher. This sparked a desire not only to edit photos, but to take them myself.
