On 14 October 2024, comet Tsuchisan/Atlas was visible for the first time in the northern hemisphere, and let that be an evening when there was not a cloud in the sky. with the last vestige of sunlight , right after sunset, the comet was already visible to human eye. The long tail dragging the comet was also visible among the stars like a luminous brushstroke.
Polder mill the Dellen lent itself as a perfect foreground on the west to capture the comet. This mill was built in 1855 and can be found beautifully rural near Nieuw Scheemda
