This photo "Colourfulness: The eye of the peacock feather" is a macro photo of a beautiful peacock feather. When framing this photo, I chose to photograph half of the feather where the green bands of this feather are also well in focus.
The way I have exposed this feather ensures that the colours of the feather come across beautifully and shine in this image.
Most of the work of taking this picture has been in cleaning the feather and post-processing. I tried to remove all distracting dust and bits, and when I couldn't do it in reality, I did it digitally. If you zoom in on the photo you can see this very well. The good special lens I used created a very sharp image where you can see the details beautifully. You can see with the naked eye that the feather is divided into lines but, if you look closer, these also have lines again.
I will describe the colours in this work myself as chic and natural: ranging from moss green, turquoise, light blue and dark blue.
Because of the warm and chic colours, this work can look beautiful in almost any interior.
