This photo was taken on a beautiful evening in January. The sunset gave a true spectacle of colour in the sky, reflecting beautifully on the water of the sea. Even the poles, glowing in the last sunlight, with the sea foam around their feet, reflected on the wet sand.
It was quiet on the beach, the breeze was gentle, and the many oystercatchers were sleeping comfortably on the poles at the end of the row. The photo was taken with a slightly slower shutter speed, which makes the colours in the sky stand out beautifully, and the retreating water draws beautiful stripes on the sand, while the sea has actually taken on a milky texture. The line of poles takes you to the horizon of beautiful light!
