About the artwork

The Miradouro do Guindaste viewpoint, on the northern side of Madeira island, is a spectacular place to capture the sunrise!!! There are some fantastic cliffs and you can see all the way to Ponta da São Lourenço, the easternmost point on the island!

I visited this viewpoint several times during different weather conditions. While during my first attempt it was too cloudy to effectively see the sunrise, I was luckier the 2nd time. The sky was clear, changing into beautiful colours and the sun came peeping in at the perfect location. I even had an unwitting model in my frame who gave the photo that extra touch!

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
