About the artwork

A colourful star birth is a breathtaking cosmic event in which new stars are formed in a blaze of colour. These star births usually occur in galaxies, where clouds of gas and dust collapse and condense until they become a protostar by their own gravity. At this moment, powerful nuclear fusion begins, releasing enormous amounts of energy and causing the new star to glow. What makes a colourful star birth so special is the spectrum of colours that become visible during the event. The colours vary depending on the elements contained in the gas and dust of the cloud. For example, nitrogen and oxygen atoms can produce green and blue hues, while hydrogen atoms produce red and purple colours. Colourful star births are not only beautiful to look at, but also of scientific interest. They help us to understand the formation and evolution of stars and to gain insights into the formation of planets and life. Over time, many of these stars will join together to form star clusters or galaxies and continue to evolve. But the spectacle of a colourful star birth remains a special event that never fails to fascinate and inspire us. It reminds us how beautiful and wonderful the universe can be and how much there is still to discover.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
