About ‘Colourful Silence on the Groningen Countryside’ by Peter Kuipers

Deep in the Groningen countryside, a colourful carpet of blooming tulip fields unfolds every spring. Between the vast fields and under the vast skies, these seas of flowers are a photographer's paradise. The soft morning light gliding across the fields makes the colours glow with extra intensity - from bright pink to deep red and sunflower yellow. The tranquillity of the landscape, occasionally interrupted by the call of a lapwing, makes the experience almost meditative. As you walk between the rows, each viewpoint turns into a new painting. Whether you come with a professional camera or just your phone: here you capture not only an image, but also a feeling. Taking photos in a tulip field in Groningen is more than taking pictures - it is an encounter with the silence, nature and rhythm of the land.
