The image shows how digitally re-coloured ink dissolves in clear water. The ink forms dense, cloud-like structures that unfold from a central point. In the outer areas, the colour becomes increasingly transparent, creating a natural progression from depth to lightness. The movement appears frozen - a fleeting moment captured in a silent composition.
The inspiration for this work comes from observing physical processes, in particular the way ink behaves in water. I am interested in the interplay of density, movement and dissolution - how form and structure are lost in the medium. The creative process was experimental and required a feel for the right moment to capture.
The atmosphere I want to create with this picture is calm, reduced and open to interpretation. It invites you to engage with the interplay of light, shadow and transparency.
The message lies in the transition - in letting go, in flowing, in visualising change.
In interior design, this work acts as a calm, visual accent. It fits particularly well in minimalist or modern rooms, where it adds depth, clarity and a subtle dynamic.
