About "Colour dissolves in water"

About the artwork

The picture shows how turquoise-coloured ink slowly sinks from above into clear water. The ink forms cloud-like, organic structures that become denser towards the bottom. In the upper areas, it remains light and translucent, while more compact forms develop in the lower part. The moment appears frozen - a natural process, captured in its fleeting beauty.

The inspiration for this work comes from observing ink in water as a visual phenomenon. I am interested in how colour disperses in space, how it dissolves and takes on new, unpredictable forms. The creative process was experimental and required a precise sense of light, perspective and timing.

The atmosphere I want to create with this picture is calm, clear and open. It invites you to engage with the interplay of colour, movement and transparency.

The message lies in transition - in letting go, in flowing, in visualising change.

In interior design, this work acts as a subtle, visual accent. It brings freshness, depth and a calm dynamic to modern, minimalist rooms - without imposing itself.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
