At the bend in a quiet street in Thakhek, this house of colonial architecture stands majestic and tired. It retains its beautiful lines, with high windows, geometric balustrades and an old-fashioned roof. The weathered shutters and yellowed walls bear witness to a bygone era, marked by the passage of decades and tropical seasons. The building seems frozen in time, in stark contrast to the more modern buildings that surround it. It's a moment suspended in time, an immersion in a colonial past still visible in certain districts of this town in southern Laos.
Passionate about photography, I travel the world in search of the most beautiful shots.
