Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

Cobh, a picturesque port town located on the south coast of Ireland in County Cork, is a place full of charm and history. This colourful town, once known as Queenstown, plays an important role in Ireland's maritime history and was the last port of call for the famous RMS Titanic before the tragic ship began its ill-fated voyage in 1912.

Cobh's beautiful coastline, with its vibrant rows of brightly coloured houses and the imposing St Colman's Cathedral towering high above the city, offers one of the most photographed views in Ireland. Cobh's steep streets lead visitors to this cathedral, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Cork Harbour.

Cobh is also home to the Titanic Experience museum, which offers an in-depth look at the stories of the passengers who boarded from this port. In addition, the impressive statue of Annie Moore, the first registered immigrant child to arrive in the United States, recalls the millions of Irish who left Cobh in search of a new life.

I am Antwan Janssen, travel and nature photographer from Uden. During my many travels on this globe I try to capture all the beauty on photo. As you can see on this site my preference goes to landscapes, wildlife but also to the local population, mostly abroad but certainly also in our beautiful Netherlands. In recent years, several of my photos have won awards in both national and international photo competitions.
