During an outing to the beach at Burgh Haamstede (Zeeland/Netherlands), I had a great time. There was so much to see and photograph.
At the end of the day, the wooden pile heads surfaced. Paalhoofden are rows of wooden poles placed at right angles to the beaches. They protect the coast from the water. And those piles lend themselves to all kinds of compositions in your photos. And with the beautiful, warm evening light, they were especially beautiful to see.
I saw the sunlight falling beautifully on the head of an old, worn-in pole, creating a captivating and almost abstract image. This photo will add atmosphere and warmth to your interior at home. But this photo will also look great in a business environment (office/waiting room).
A few years ago I started to delve into photography a bit more and by now it can be called a passion.I photograph everything that strikes me in a positive way. Landscapes, animals and occasionally architecture or portraits.... But my preference is still nature photos, especially macro.. Read more…
