On the way to the summit of Le Grand Veymont in the French Pre-Alps. The highest mountain in the Vercors with a height of 2341 metres. A great climb with impressive views!
What makes the picture special is the incident light through the odd clouds which gives a soft image to the view and the obvious fatigue in body language of the person climbing the mountain. (It certainly wasn't easy either)
The total hike took us 2 days, the first day up to over the mountain at the beginning of the tree line where we could hang our hammocks. The next day, of course, the hike back. What an adventure....
In any format, this photo looks great to me. Whether you want to tackle your workplace with inspirational photos to keep the dreams of adventure awake.
Or if you have any affiliation with the impressive French countryside. I do.
The photo gives me good memories.
