Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.

Located on the west coast of Ireland in County Clare, the Cliffs of Moher are one of the country's most iconic and visited natural wonders. Stretching for about 8 kilometres and towering 214 metres above the Atlantic Ocean at their highest point, these imposing cliffs offer breathtaking views you won't soon forget.

The Cliffs of Moher are famous for their rugged beauty and spectacular panorama's. From the tops of these cliffs on clear days, you can enjoy sweeping ocean views, seeing the Aran Islands and even the mountains of Connemara in the distance. The sound of the waves crashing against the cliffs and the wind whipping along the cliffs enhances the wild and untamed atmosphere of this place.

The Cliffs of Moher visitor centre, subtly built into the landscape, offers detailed information on the cliffs' geology, flora, fauna and rich history. A network of paths along the cliff edges allows you to walk safely from one spectacular viewpoint to another, with each point offering yet another breathtaking perspective of the landscape.

As you can see on this site my preference goes to landscapes, wildlife but also to the local population, mostly abroad but certainly also in our beautiful Netherlands. In recent years, several of my photos have won awards in both national and international photo competitions.
