City of Rotterdam by Arjen Roos

"Painting "City of Rotterdam": An iconic and vibrant painting depicting the beautiful skyline of Rotterdam. With the Erasmus Bridge, Euromast, SS Rotterdam, Hotel New York, Montevideo, Maastoren, De Rotterdam, World Port Center, the Central Station, the Market Hall and much more, this artwork captures the essence of the city in all its glory.

The painting is done in an impressionist style, using black ink and white lines to highlight the architectural details of the buildings. The black ink drips down, subtly creating an extra dimension and texture in the work. The contrast between the detailed buildings and the flowing ink accents gives the painting a dynamic and expressive character.

The composition has been carefully chosen to show Rotterdam's skyline in all its glory. Each building has been rendered with attention and precision, making the painting rich in detail. The colours in the sky add a touch of vibrancy and warmth to the predominantly black-and-white palette, creating a harmonious whole.

This painting is ideally suited for a large print, so that all the beautiful details can be fully appreciated. It is a true eye-catcher that attracts attention and reflects the beauty and diversity of Rotterdam. Whether you are a resident of Rotterdam or simply an admirer of the city, this artwork brings out the energy and character of Rotterdam and is a wonderful addition to any space.

The painting "Stad Rotterdam" is one of my bestsellers and has already managed to enchant many people. It is a tribute to the city and its architectural highlights, and an invitation to explore Rotterdam's rich culture and dynamism.
