Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

Beta feature. You need an AR-capable device (a recent iPhone/iPad or Android). The AR view is only an indication; colour, size and finish may differ in reality.

About ‘City gate Düsseldorf (7-118232)’ by Franz Walter

Modern architecture in Düsseldorf

The Düsseldorf Stadttor is an architectural landmark with a spectacularly high atrium. The Stadttor literally provides the entrance to Düsseldorf city centre, as the B1 federal highway runs directly underneath the building. Located in the immediate vicinity of the Media Harbour, the state parliament and the television tower, the 75-metre-high building with its fully glazed façade immediately catches the eye. A special feature of the building is a central hall approximately 56 metres high, which is lined by offices on two sides and on the attic floor. This arrangement gives the building the character of a gatehouse, which explains the name "city gate".
