About ‘City Sunrise’ by Marieke Wouters

City Sunrise is a collage born of a longing for places where the light falls differently, where colours seem richer, and where the smells and sounds are different from those at home. The collage is inspired by the sun in big cities. The city with the rising golden sun, seen from the fresh surroundings beyond the city. This collage is composed of hand-printed, cut-out and painted elements, brought together to form a warm image. City Sunrise forms a diptych with Indian Summer. City Sunrise radiates the freshness of the morning in an awakening city, whilst Indian Summer captures the warmth of distant lands.

This collage captures the energy of a city waking up in warm climes; buildings glowing in the first sunlight, a horizon tinged with soft gold, and shapes playfully overlapping one another. The atmosphere is lively yet not busy, striking a balance between rhythm and tranquillity. The work is particularly well suited to modern interiors, city apartments or workspaces with a touch of cosmopolitan inspiration.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
