Citroën Traction Avant classic French limousine car. The Citroen Traction Avant is one of the most revolutionary cars in automotive history. Produced from 1934 to 1957, it was among the first mass-produced cars to feature front-wheel drive, a unibody chassis, and independent suspension—technologies that would later become industry standards. Due to its front-wheel-drive system the car is fitted with a sleek, aerodynamic body with a low stance compared to its contemporaries. Pictured here is a part of the large front grille with the classic double chevron Citroën logo and the distinct teardrop-shaped fenders and an elongated hood and of course the typical headlight fitted on top of the fenders.
