About ‘Church window in Ablain-St Nazaire’ by George van der Vliet

In Ablain St Nazaire stands the ruins of a church destroyed during WWI. The picture of the remains of a window has been transformed into this image via an editing programme. The image is in fact an ornament that honours the past and at the same time depicts impermanence and destruction.
