The heavy rainfall created small lakes in several places in the dunes. Not so bad in itself, except when just your house is there. So here in bergen aan zee, this was also the case. The fire brigade used a 500-metre hose to pump away as much water as possible to the sea. But apparently some water had remained, forming a nice little lake with the Church of Peace at its foot. When it began to freeze, the little church and adjoining houses reflected beautifully in the smooth ice. Together with the setting winter sun I was able to take a nice picture.
