The church of Feerwerd, in the province of Groningen, the Netherlands, by night. The church, named after Jacobus de Meerder, was built in the first half of the 13th century. Because of the plasterwork, the monastic jokes are no longer visible. Windows and plaster date from the 19th century. The warped tower was added to the church in 1859, the tower clock in 1929.
