About the artwork

Plastic in the sea can have a major impact on fish and other marine animals. Plastic can be swallowed by fish, leading to choking, internal injuries and eventually death. Moreover, plastic waste in the sea can contain chemicals, such as plasticisers and other toxic substances, which can leak and enter the water, affecting the health of fish and other marine animals. In addition, plastic waste in the sea can disrupt the food chain. Smaller marine animals can swallow plastic, and when larger fish eat these smaller animals, the plastic can accumulate in their bodies. This can lead to accumulation of toxins in the fish, which in turn can affect human health when we eat these fish. In short, plastic waste in the sea has a negative impact on the health and well-being of fish and other marine animals, and can ultimately affect human health as well. It is therefore important to reduce our plastic waste and recycle it correctly to reduce the impact on the marine ecosystem.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
